:agree: Looks that way. I'm sure Allan could confirm this.

I am glad to have found this out in advance.

    Whew, I got caught up!

Allan, you are a real gem. You are an outstanding human being to invest so much time here spreading the news. Thank you sincerely.

OK, may I pose a question for anyone with a review copy of the stereo box? To the best of my knowledge, "The Ballad of John and Yoko" only had the full final drumbeat on the UK 45. Even on the US 45, it was faded out early. On the Compact Disc Singles box, it was faded, and so on.

On the new Past Masters, does "The Ballad of John and Yoko" have that big atomic beat drumbeat, unfaded?

Thank you in advance, whoever finds time to answer!

    Cheers,
    Doug

Just curious about the 09/09/09 release date

Just wondering if it was just Apple's decision or was it all 4 of the artist (or relatives in George and Johns case)?

Looks like the Sampler only has the stereo stuff. I hope some samples of the mono are available soon.

One more reason for me to not worry about the stereo box set.

    My sentiments exactly.

  19. Does From Me To You have the harmonica intro, or just the vocals? It's killing me!

are some of you kids buying the MONO box & just picking up later titles in Stereo?

  21. That's what I'm doing. I will probably buy only Let It Be, Abbey Road, and Past Masters in stereo.

Yes, just buying the mono box for now.

I had planned to pick up Let It Be, Abbey Road, and Past Masters, but now I am rethinking that due to my budget. Maybe I'll wait until the stereo box is commonly available second hand.

I do own a copy or two of everything in stereo already.

    Cheers,
    Doug
