If I can expand the concept to a trio:

Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry
(should've been done years ago, as a quartet with Bo Diddley)

In all seriousness, Tom Jones and Glenn Danzig.
Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison have both sang songs written by Danzig but I can just imagine what a Misfit's "Last Caress" or Samhain "Let the Day Begin" would sound like belted out by Tom Jones.

I forget his name but the singer from The Church would be good with the female singer from Garbage. I forget her name also.

Yikes! That's almost TOO good to even imagine.

I'll go with Ian Hunter and Alejandro Escovedo, which would make a great tour lineup.

I'd rather hear Paul and Adrian Belew.

  22. Tom Waits for Richards

Tom Waits and Keith Richards (worked together on Tom's Bone Machine-I would like to see more of that). What about Elvis and MJ-The Afterlife Sessions-ok, that was dark humour.

If you ask me, Adrian and pretty much anyone. Whether it's King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Bowie, Tom Tom Club, Talking Heads, you name it, Adrian is great with all those he works with.

I love that FZ avatar gd0, good one.

    Wynton Marsalis and Lemmy.

Joking aside, get the two of them to do a one-off version of the "1916" track. Not kidding either, I think that could be something worth hearing.
