I agree. Actually almost any colaboration with Van Dyke Parks' wonderful quirky songs and someone else's singing would be marvelous, eg., Orange Crate Art.

 

Shonen Knife and The Flaming Lips - The Flaming Lips might help Shonen Knife recapture the weirdness of their early work and Shonen Knife could add their marvelous harmonies to The Flaming Lips' brilliant productions.

Ian Anderson and Richard Thompson should do an album, with Ian's contributions NOT including any singing. That would be nice I think.

Jeff Lynne and Paul McCartney could make a great retro-psych album together.
