If Quadrophenia is done like Who's Next and if it's on 1 disc that could be "interesting".

    QUADROPHENIA, eh?

Too bad we won't ever get the entire opus in 5.1 Surround.

I might consider the Monk release.

So it seems the Rolling Stones series is done, stopping with Dirty Work...

I would consider quadrophenia, but I really love my MFSL of that title

Live at Leeds was scheduled for April and was moved to June 27th.

I'm in for Quadrophenia and Sell Out

Quadrophenia for sure, but I think I'm done buying copies of Sell Out and Leeds.

Tommy (in April), Sell Out and Quadrophenia on SACD from the original UK master tapes? I love my Classic LP's, but I might have to buy these.

  12. I'll wait for reviews, but the Who albums and Charlie Brown are strong considerations.

Am interested in the original mix for Quadrophenia for sacd and a Sell Out sacd with bonus tracks. As well as more info on the Leeds release. If this all happens.

I assume that these are the recordings that Esoteric has already put out (on two SACDs) - why not give us a break a put them all on one instead of three? Ouch!

I know it won't be but I really hope Sell Out will be the mono mix.

Me too. Not interested in any of these. I'm set plenty well (plenty good?) on Quadrophenia and Leeds, and don't care that much about Sell Out.

I would expect them to be original mixes, without bonus tracks - if these conform with the previous SHM-SACD releases. There might be a slight possibility of a mono/stereo Sell Out, as was done with the My Generation SHM-SACD, but I wouldn't count on it.

Great, I assume this will be the original stereo mix?

    Yes.

Leeds is still up in the air, as far as I know.

I always found the MFSL to sound dull and flat. I prefer the 1996 and 2011remaster.

The 1996 and 2011 are both remixes. The SACD will be the original mix, just like the MFSL.

When Live at Leeds was announced I said wake me up when Quadrophenia comes out. Time for the alarm clock. I will get that and Sell Out for sure.
