Next Grateful Dead Road Trips: Denver 1973?

Hey friends,

I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be the cover-art to the new Road Trips cd coming out. It appears Denver 1973 is the title of the set. Expect Mississippi Half Step-> Playin' In The Band-> El Paso-> Playin' In The Band-> Wharf Rat-> Playin' In The Band-> Morning Dew. Yowza.

Will you be purchasing this set, or do you already have too much 1973?(what?!)

 

Honestly, I think I'm going to hold off on purchasing any Dead for a long time. Between all the stuff I haven't listened to yet and while waiting for that 72 CD box set in the fall, I don't want to burn out just yet!

 

I'm interested (I don't have the bread for the Europe 72 crate, so this will be a nice commiseration set)

 

I subscribed to the current RT series, so this'll be coming my way.

 

Um, I'd be all over this like a rash.

 

More November '73? Please sir, anything but that...No, no, not another Here Comes Sunshine, I couldn't bear it...a deranged Other One? please no...well, as long as there isn't a PITB tapestry? THERE IS?!!?? make it stop, make it stop, make it stop...

The "bonus" disc for subscribers is supposed to be from 12/6/73, so a Nov '73 release would make sense.

Not in very good sound quality, though. An upgrade would definitely be appreciated. The 12/6/73 bonus disc should be really nice as well.

 

In the Vault as well, unfortunately.

 

I already own the extensive Winterland 1973 set recorded the same month, so I may pass on this.

 

I'd buy any 73 or 74 without hesitation...my favorite consecutive years.

 

I subscribed and will be quite pleased with this as the next release. One can never have too much.

 

1973? Cool. I'm there. But I'm always there.

Word is the next BIG box will be the Fall/Winter '73 shows. I'll take one!

 

The 11/21/73 Mississippi Half Step-> Playin' In The Band-> El Paso-> Playin' In The Band-> Wharf Rat-> Playin' In The Band-> Morning Dew is my one of my all time favorite soundboards, love everything from Fall 73 but 11/21 is special. I can't wait for this one. Outside of the Winterland Box this is the first 73 release since Dicks Picks I think.
