Before you put that LP away, how do all the unmentioned edits line up against the MFSL song list?

I can answer that vaguely without the LP in hand.

Many of the edits on that promo are really sloppy. Even where there are obvious points to begin and end tracks, there are strange choices made. I remember that as one edit begins, you can hear the tape gradually speeding up to proper speed from a stopped position. So while in general the tracks stop and start at basically the same points as the MFSL, they're not at all exact. I remember another track fades quickly and then the next track begins by repeating the last several seconds of the former piece.

If you ask me, they'd have been just as fine asking the DJs to find the cues themselves. It would have sounded just as unprofessional! :)

I remember those bad cues and edits from when I had the LP.

APP - Heaven or Hell "Do you still see me even here?''

At the risk of repeating myself or repeat after me "the APP MFSL CD is pure heaven".

    * Note: The original track listing was included on the original vinyl promo copies given to D.J.'s back in 1973, so they could pick out the tracks they wanted to play on the radio. For some reason they were not included on the official release, but they were added again to the Mobile Fidelity CD of "A Passion Play".
