Sorry that I had messed up my links, but the one I originally put up was a wrong one.

I see now with the solo version link you put up that it is the same vocal (with acc.) piece I originally wanted to, and hereby, send you.

I think the major difference I hear is your piece is in minor mode, and I believe that VG is basically major mode. But I can be wrong, and maybe I don't focus on the right part of the quite complex Tull song...

This is an exquisite little axe; what is it? I have never seen it before. A very early form of "parlour guitar"?

    Again, sorry for the goof!

The part my wife and I kept hearing was "with your legs in the air" melody during Velvet Green. Not that it's exact, but we both did hear it. Maybe it's just us or we've been listening to too much Tull! Ha!

I listened to Warchild this morning during my power walk. A powerful, rock album with solid songs and good bonus tracks. Money well spent.

Barre in "Excalibur" Rock Opera Touring Germany, Switzerland in January

Tull's lead guitarist Martin Barre is one of the musicians on the current fourteen-night German/Swiss tour of the Celtic rock opera "Excalibur." "Excalibur" is the legend of all legends: created by a deity, predicted by a sorcerer, and acquired by a king – an ancient mystery which is now unraveled by music. Martin shares the musical stage with an impressive list of players including Alan Parsons, Fairport Convention (including Dave Pegg), and John Helliwell ("Supertramp") among others.

For tickets/tour dates and details including song samples, check out the "Excalibur" website. http://www.excalibur-show.com/

Don't have most of their albums but "Thick As A Brick" is in my top-ten list ever, "Stand Up" is a disc that's often spinning in my CD player and "Aqualung" is a very good one as well... I also enjoy "Living In The Past" and "Bursting Out".
All in all Tull is my favourite prog band after Yes (I could not live without "Fragile").
