 Fair enough. Minstrel in the Gallery is my favourite album, it was the most difficult Tull album for me to get into in the beginning. Stormwatch is perfect from Home to Elegy for me.

True, but maybe Frank was just wanting to pick up some of Tull's Grammy winning mojo. ;)

Ian Anderson's/Tull's "We're getting a bit short on heroes lately.'' always makes me laugh. (or at the very least, grin) :D

I have a question regarding "Benefit".

The original CD release has one track listing, then the remaster has the tracks in a different order.

Was the original the wrong track order or is the remaster the wrong one?

Personally, I prefer the track listing on the original CD vs the remaster (I own both copies though) but that may be because I got used to it first.

Benefit original USA CD reflects USA LP.
Remaster reflects Brit LP. (adds bonus tracks)

Hey Tull Experts! I just picked up a double vinyl of "Living In The Past" which is on the Tan Steamboat Warner/Reprise Label. I can only find references to a Yellow Chrysalis pressing. It's a Made In USA LP - but is it rare? The hardback book/sleeve is in good shape. Vinyl goes from a VG to NM- as a few light scratches that don't really sound at all. I gave it a good clean and it's sounding wicked. Anyone have this, or knows about the mastering? It's 2RS 2106 :)

That is the original pressing. Different track listing from the UK Chrysalis pressing.

I saw one of these when the album first came out in 1972. Since then I've only seen the Chrysalis label pressings. I don't know how rare they are. I'm guessing that when Passion Play came out as their first U.S. Chrysalis label release, the previous albums were re-pressed with Chrysalis labels as well and Living in the Past may have had only a short run with the Reprise label before that happened.

I have loved Tull sice hearing Stand Up in college.
Any chance of new studio material from them?
Anyone ever heard the unreleased track "Dinosaur"? I know that it exists!

Walk Into Light 1983 Under Wraps 1984

    Hi Chea,
Sorry about the CD, don't lend good music to bad people. :D
:shh: Maybe Martin Barre and Dave Pegg make for the difference on Under Wraps.
Three cheers for Peter Vettese! I would not want to be without these albums.

    Cheers!
