Hopefully this is the old arenas tour that was originally planned a couple of years ago….

unsure how necessary Nils is with Bruce. At the very least he's greatly underutilized. But he also is with CH. He can play multidimensional circles around his bosses, and can consistently deliver fiery, cogent solos. He should just step out, even at the risk of being fired.

I agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I think artistically the Horse is more where Nils’ heart is at these days, but I don’t blame him for sticking with Bruce as a guaranteed year on the road when we all know Neil has a tendency to change his mind on a dime.

Crazy Horse is where it's at. Micah is a great Poncho replacement. Make the trek over the Pacific boys.

I’m told all shows will be amphitheaters, due to Neil’s COVID concerns.

Agreed; Nils was a vital addition to the E Street band in the 80s but his role has since become minimized in the larger band setting.

He was also great a great addition to Neil's '82 Europe tour band as evidenced in the VHS/DVD of the Berlin show...full of energy and having a blast!

I can answer a bunch of these questions. One, it’s gonna be NY & CH. Micah will be in the 2nd guitar slot. There was reference to Micah being invited to join Crazy Horse on Thrasher’s Wheat a few weeks ago, and they nabbed it from
guitar World. I read the whole thing. Micah will for sure be the fourth member, but wouldn’t be surprised if Nils shows up one or twice. Now…..NY & CH are already booked for Jazzfest, 2nd weekend. Thus I think the tour will be east castor and Midwest. Lastly, Neil still only wants to play outdoors…..so I imagine we’ll get some outdoor amphitheater bookings. This is gonna be a sick tour! See you all on the road!

So Neil has cleared up all the environmental concerns / factory farming issues with food ….that he said would have to be worked out before he tours again?

That’s the spirit. Let’s hold Neil accountable to everything he’s ever said, point out his hypocrisy, and he’ll never play a live show again.

No offense taken. I’m brand new to this forum. When I read the top 6-8 posts, most of the points I addressed were being posed as questions. As I just read a bunch more posts, I see you’re correct that most points I put forth were already addressed. Sorry to clog up the place…..see you on NYCH tour!

If he comes close enough to my area I will spend the money. But I don’t have the resources to travel, so I’ll just have to wait and see what unfolds.

April seems a little early for outdoor shows. Could be chilly in NE & Midwest.
