    Light wrinkling, nice shape overall.
An extremely ra e original flyer for an L.A. music event that most fans don't even know existed, mainly because it was canceled by the "powers that be" before it ever took place.
This is a flyer announcing the "New Year's Eve pARTy" at the Glamour in downtown L.A., an event slated to feature an installation by 87 laocl visual artists, plus live music by no fewer than 26 bands, all playing in an informal downtown warehouse-type space, to ring in the year 1987.
The problem was that the promoters lacked the proper permits, and building code/ insurance safety protocols to host such an event, and it was shut down by the city fire marshal and building inspectors on the day of the show, before any music was actually played. Many of the artist booked for this non-show wound up scheduling last-minute appearances at other local L.A. venues, making history in the process.
The scheduled lineup, as indicated on the flyer, was to include a then mostly unknown JANE'S ADDICTION, a barely known local band, GUNS N' ROSES, the trending WALL OF VOODOO, L.A. punk legends THE ZEROES and LEGAL WEAPON, plus FASTER PUSSYCAT, CRUZADOS, JET BOY, BLOOD ON THE SADDLE, CROWBAR, TROUBLE FOR NORA, THE FIENDS, SWA, THE RED DEVILS, HOOLIGANS, BONEYARD BRAT, D.I.s, KIN KAN CLUBB, RAZEBRAE, ANIMAL DANCE, THE UNION STREET BULLIES, THE LAME FLAMES, THE HELLCATS, CATHOUSE, X DREAMS, and MOTORCYCLE BOY![IMG]
