Worst album covers of all time (with pictures!)

This one's pretty bad for a mainstream release. Prince wearing what appear to be woman's panties, a military coat and a bandana. At least they classed it up by choosing to shoot the photo in artistic black & white.

 

I always suspected there was another, more offensive cover for that one. Thanks!

 

The highly controversial element of the "Blind Faith" cover didn't escape me but I still think that associating any borderline cover art (and BF certainly belongs to the list) with that is embarrassing

 

How do you figure this is "more offensive" then the (superior) alternate cover? It just looks very silly to me, like a couple of overgrown kids playing in a cemetary...not very Forceful!

 

Imagine if that came with your Sunday paper!

I agree! That's why I sought out the original cover when I bought the recent cd reissue (which was pictured)... It's actually a Japanese version of the German release... none of the replacement covers had any creativity at all IMO

 

all the Scorpions covers are pretty bad except Fly To The Rainbow....

 

I can't believe that no one has mentioned this major label atrocity, so I will do the honors. I believe this cover damaged the record's sales potential...and if there was even a semblance of a decent mix, it could have been very good...

Well it's cheesy for one. Corny for another. Ugly for yet another.

 

I dunno, the original Lovedrive was at least kinda funny.

 

As opposed to my avatar, which is positively brilliant.

 

And the mix is muddy!

 

it is, I wasn't particularly impressed with the music, but it's been awhile...my avatar's music is brillaint too (Modry Effekt)
