How is it a problem? It would certainly be nice to have a Redbook component to easily rip. As it stands you have to record the whole thing.

    1. I just think my single layer SACDs perform better than dual layers. IMO, the less that can interfere with the playback the better.

    2. I don't need to rip anything. I play the SACD, because all of my players do SACD. Ripping typically = Thievery

One of my players was flaking out a bit on some discs (subsequently fixed), but other than that I haven't had any issues.

Not. CD-R for the car. iTunes. Etc.

I've seen the disc on eBay but the pics show me three different designs, and one is advertised as a 2 disc set?!? I'd like to get a copy of this title but I'm worried about fakes. Could someone post a pic of the "real" packaging for me to go by? Thanks...

I would recommend buying it at CDJapan and take away the worry.

Amen, why I hunted until I found one already in America, and opened. One sold right here yesterday in the classifieds. Hang in there.

Hmmm.....they are offering cheaper than $50.26 on ebay? If so, go for it. My search came up with $60 on ebay.

That's a CD, not the dreamy SACD.

I've decided we need more audio formats. The public isn't confused enough. Thanks for the clarification :D

I don't mean to open up the whole record vs CD thing but how does this one compare to the best vinyl pressings?

The drums on this SACD are amazing. It like a revelation. Better than any other version I have heard, including vinyl, and I have heard most of 'em.

I haven't sat down and compared. Usually the best way to enjoy digital is to not play vinyl... :shh:
But seriously, this SACD's so good I'm not in a hurry to find out! :D

Agree with lukpac. BTW, does any software exist to rip SACD to iTunes?
