WHO'S NEXT Japanese SHM-SACD

It was definitely exhaustively discussed prior to and post release, pretty sure it is still considered one of the better releases. My search skills are probably no better than your's though

Some people like it, and some people really do not.

 

Unfortunately, "Who's Next" is not a term that works well when searching.

 

Just pick any thread at random, good chance the album is mentioned one way or another.

I, too, am astonished. The same phenomena happened when the Beatles' remastered vinyl box set was released.

I pulled this out yesterday and really enjoyed it. Not the perfect recording, but this disc sounds the best to me.

I am going to pull out Steve's today as it has been a while, to see if my comparison is still the same.

Being a beginner audiophile it's always good to come onto SH audio forums and get answers be it a review or an opinion on how something sounds. Take the Who's Next SHM-SACD which "sounds great as it goes on" In other words sometimes I need validation on how something sounds and that's what I get here.....
