Having a Buddy beaut breakfast with this new arrival from Germany...... Breaking Out 1980 Buddy Guy UK JSP Records Cat: 1017 Buddy's turn of the decade JSP albums can be hard to all track down on vinyl and I still need to find D.J. Play My Blues!
Posted "Breaking Out" in Dec., and I thought it sounded like "Buddy Guy ... on Steroids!" I own a number of the JSP titles, and enjoy them all, including this one - Buddy Guy - D. J. Play My Blues (JSP Records / UK - 1982)
I assume any different artwork for this title was confined to CD's? Steroids isn't a bad call and around this time some Buddy photos reminded me (without me being aware at the time) of Hightower!
Well there were 3 unless "Blues Giant" was ever on that label. Add to this that titles for Junior Wells and Phil Guy were recorded seemingly mostly done at the same time or even session, it's just Stone Crazy!
Otis Rush - So Many Roads Live In Concert. Unknown date U.S. reissue. Originally released in 1975. This concert was in Hibiya Park Tokyo Japan in 1975. Say on the rear cover that this reissue was remastered and remixed from the original Japanese issue with 1 new song added.
