OK. I wondered about that, so it's a 24 hour clock face as opposed to a 12 hour clock face. All clocks with hands still have 24 hour movement though.
No worries. I'm judging myself plenty for the both of us...I took the recommendation of someone here with the hopes of avoiding the situation you describe and instead getting something of reasonable quality, which I did.
Instead of 2 revolutions for 24 hours (12 hours each) it only makes 1 in 24 hours Right 1/2 before noon Left, after
The movement tracks military time or 24 hour time. It takes 24 hours for the hour hand to make one revolution around the dial -hence the hour markers to 24. A 12 hour movement has the hour hand make 2 trips around the dial-hence a 12 at the top of the dial.
How many albums do you (or anybody) have where the sidemen are listed above the main artist? I never noticed this until now.
After days of exhausting research online and reading through the 300 page owner's manual illustrating the many version models of the audio DIN fascia in order to adjust audio EQ/Fader on my recently bought used 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS Touring Wagon... I have today figured it out. But I have to say after decades of used cars with lousy factory audio, this Hyundai is the best sounding I've ever heard. It's got at least 4 main speakers and a hidden sub that reproduces down to at least 50Hz and quite loudly. I just want to balance the sound a bit but the owner's manual is a beast of variously different and confusing DIN model designs that require I use a magnifying glass to make sure MY DIN model shows the right buttons to push just to gain access to the audio sound shaping section. The picture below shows how far I got as well as show how it's buried in the CLOCK SET UP. Still not sure about up/down bass/mids/treble because it provides a "Power Bass" (P-Bass section) I think I missed or can't get to because all of this is not very intuitive. There are at least 10 pages of various DIN fascia designs that look alike but each with different button naming and placement each with their own designated NUMBER. There's nothing online that shows how to adjust audio so I'm hoping posting here might help someone else in a search.
A pair of Spendor A2's......paired with an Audio Note IQMK3.now installed on my Rega P8: not going overboard with hyperbole.....but the level of detail revealed by this pairing is an absolute delight (to date.....
And it arrived today. I added a few more LPs out shopping earlier - trip up to a record shop Montrose and these came home with me:- Saint Etienne's "Home Counties" The Bardo Soundtrack:- Nick Lowe - Dig My Mood (if you've never heard this, or know much of his music, this is a career defining album and buries his pub rock style he carried throughout the 80s - some absolute gems on this, give it a spin):- The Residents - Not Available:- And last, but not least, Bobbie Gentry - The Girl From Chickasaw County:- Not a bad haul for the day (and a 250-mile round trip to boot)!
Yeah OK you guys got amazing speakers and amps and DACs and albums, but I got white letters to put on the dividers for my album collection. Awesome. Now do I use first name, last name, genre, what if it begins with "The......" what about collections and multi artists. Do I really want Beethoven with Bjork?
Just got a few new records delivered today, that's pretty much the only thing lately ... Julia Holter, a.s.o., Michael A. Muller, Laetitia Sadier, Jane Weaver
