The Rush cd mastering thread

I havent heard the first masterings of the SHM's I just got, but I do have the first run of SHM's for Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, Moving Pictures and Hemispheres and they all seem a little "hotter" than the albums I just bought, but it might be my imagination. When you say that the SHM's can be identical to the AMCY's, I assume you're talking about the more recent AMCY's that are also the same as the 97 remasters? I have an earlier AMCY for Signals (AMCY 291) that is not the same as the 97 remaster clone.
