    A shame, that. Maybe the publishers didn't think XTC generated enough interest in North America to warrant a reprint. :cry: Ah well.

    Ironically, the most rabid XTC fan I know is American! :laugh:

    Collideascope is my favorite Dukes song. I noticed that there are four Duke demos on the various Andy Partridge Fuzz Warbles volumes. The individual tracks are available on ITunes too.
     
  3. I agree. The Dukes of the Stratosphear stuff rocks, best thing XTC has ever done, IMHO. I remember listening to my friends' copy of Psionic Psunspot when I was in high school, but I never got around to buying it until a few years ago. I bought the compilation, Chips From The Chocolate Fireball. It's remastered, but sounds good to my ears.

    My favorite "XTC song that the Dukes should have done" has to be "Some Lovely (My Brown Guitar). I believe Partridge actually did pen it as a Dukes track, but was then convinced to perform it as XTC (which, by the time it was released, was without Gregory).

    Just my .02 ...
