Congrats to Steve, Kevin and everyone at Analogue Prods.

$30 isn't expensive in this context. It cost an awful lot to make. :)

I'm sure everyone used these same master reels. Different mastering approaches, I'm sure..

Considering the money spent on my personal Easter egg hunt for the best sounding versions of each and every Yes recording 30 bucks per title is a bargain to end the search. Do em all! Do it!!!

Not to be argumentative but I would bet anything that MoFi used a different tape than you when they made their one and only Yes LP *Close to the Edge*. Same with Rhino when they did *The Yes Album.*

I can't wait. I've been watching Ebay auctions for the original UK pressing, but I'm definitely going to save my dough for this baby.

Will the packaging remain faithful to the original album? ((I'm specifically thinking of the booklet stapled to the gatefold))

    Hi Steve,

I agree with you, but I think the only solution for that album would be a total remix. There's way too much reverb on everything most of the time. Of course, it's possible that they did that to help the other instruments blend with the pipe organ. I suspect all the reverb on the pipe organ is natural.

Real shame that there's no concurrent gold disc release of this title. Hmm.

Great news! 30 bucks is a real deal. Expecting to pay $15 or whatever for an audiophile mastering job by Hoffman/Gray would be silly. I may have to get into Yes now because of this.
