Rolling Stones - Start Me Up "My eyes dilate, my lips go green My hands are greasy, she's a mean, mean machine..."
Bill Wyman - Come Back Suzanne "The goldfish are dying and the bowl's gone green I've got rings around the toilet, been laughing on the phone The sheets need changing and the bed's begun to squeak The parrot's stopped talking and it's only been a week..."
Pink Floyd" Astronomy Domine" 1967 Lime and limpid green, a second scene A fight between the blue you once knew Floating down, the sound resounds Around the icy waters underground Jupiter and Saturn, Oberon, Miranda and Titania Neptune, Titan, stars can frighten Blinding signs flap Flicker, flicker, flicker blam, pow Stairway scare Dan dare who's there Lime and limpid green, the sounds around The icy waters under Lime and limpid green, the sounds around The icy waters underground
Ryley Walker - Primrose Green. Saw him perform this with Danny Thompson at an intimate venue a few years back - magical and haunting.
For the uninitiated Bonny Light Horseman are not a million miles away from Robert Plant's new Saving Grace collab band. I would call them a super group but you would need the individuals to enjoy a higher level of name recognition for that to stick. They certainly sing and play like one. Gorgeous blend of voices and the best vehicle to emerge thus far for Anais Mitchell's considerable talents. Seriously great playing too. This is a non album 7" single that got a bit lost during the first summer of lockdown. I would also recommend those looking to dip a toe to listen to their joyous, digital only cover of Buzzin' Fly.
