    I get that nobody is interested in the digital, but the Capitol mono master on HDTracks (Yoshida?) has enough bias from the original recorder to run Plangent on it, and it sounds incredible. But then it's not vinyl so, oh well.

    I don't mind digital, especially when it's the best version available. Is there any way for someone outside of Plangent to hear the corrected version? From your wording, it sounds like you've taken the 192 kHz HDtracks version and run it through Plangent on your own, rather than that the version on HDtracks has already had Plangent applied, so I'm guessing the Plangent version isn't publicly available.

    Yes, that's all correct. This is something we did in-house and it's not likely to be heard by TPTB at the Sinatra camp.
