I have both this and Help Canadian Pressings with the original stereo mixes . I prefer the original 65 mixes to Martin's remixes in the 80s.
This is the same for my copies but this is what I have for the CDs themselves: I'm guessing these are potentially the earliest pressings of these discs?
While I’m not certain, that seems to be the case. I listed my discs in what seems to be chronological order.
Parlophone on spine? PPM (US) - no WTB (US) - no AHDN (NL) - YES BFS (US) - no Help! (US) - YES Help! (Can) - YES RS (UK) - YES RS (Can) - no Rev (UK) - YES SPLHCB (NL) - no MMT (NL) - no White (US) - no White 30th - no YS (US) - no AR (NL) - no LIB (US) - no
Non-series variants? Black triangle, the DA pressings with unique mastering, and the '98 white album are outliers in the "main" CD discography. Makes perfect sense to me!
That was the thought, and is in order of a sort (or a “sort-of order”—LOL!) But really, almost nothing else is.
