Roxy Music on CD

There are several threads discussing this subject already, but surprisingly very few EAC peak levels, no good overviews of the masterings that have been identified and all the data that's out there is scattered across several threads instead of together in one thread. So I think this thread is a good opportunity to finally list all the different masterings that are available on CDs. Right now this only covers the 8 regular studio albums and the 1976 live album Viva!, but if there's any interest we can add compilations and other live albums as well.

Although the main purpose for this thread is to identify different masterings, discussions on sound quality and things like wavforms and frequency analysis are also welcome. Note that the masterings are listed and numbered in the order in which they were identified in this thread. They are not listed in chronological order.

So the early West Germans and UK's differ from each other? That's odd.

Great thread, I actually thought about starting one myself a couple of days ago because I was interested in whether the Virgin/E'Gs sound the same as the Polydor releases...

Boy, anytime someone says that all early Japan/WG/US masterings are the same, they should be told to take a look at that list.

 

Wow, are all the HDCD remasters like that? I only have those as I have picked them up recently used for a cheap price. As of a couple weeks ago I now have all the vinyl releases from them, many are promos I got from a collection 10 years ago. Of course I love the vinyl but the ease of CD let me to get the remasters, that and you find them all over cheap.

I'm surprised no one's put up Roxy Music Bryan Ferry Street Life 20 Greatest Hits yet. I bought the CD in Swindon the week it was released. TV and print adds galore. There was a huge promotional push in the UK when it came out. I'd post the levels however I'm new to this aspect and don't know how to do it.
