I have yet to listen to this one, but the Aqualung SACD was a big disappointment as well.

I hate when that happens. :sigh:

Have not heard the Analogue Productions SACD. I would be happy with the USA F2 21042 if I did not have the MoFi.
    Cheers

    Do you mean the DCC?
    That’s my preferred original mix.

Ah yes sorry, there was talk of Aqualung a few posts up, but it's the Stand Up thread...

Thanks. I won't investigate this, particularly as I've got our host's version.

... It's NOT the Stand Up SACD thread but I was confused anyway :)

Not too confused. DCC Aqualung is good. First UK CD is a good substitute.

I always thought the early 2000's Too Old ... had a lot of background noise , thumping almost .

Don't tell anyone but I actually prefer the first UK CD to the DCC.

But the remix is tops for sound quality.

Just bought from another forum member the 2 disc Japanese version of Living In The Past. What a gorgeous package! Textured cover like original vinyl, etc. It may not be as great sounding as other versions but I’m not an audiophile and it sounds great to me. One of my favorite comps.
