    You are correct, sir.

Just pre-ordered the CD. It's also available in a CD/LP package.

Maybe the thread title should be changed?

Cam someone please 'school' me on this album? I am familiar with the 'Sounds For A Rainy Day' album but not this.

Will the Rhino Handmade website be the only place to order this title?

Rhino has released some Homemade titles to retail.
They are typically available on Amazon.

Maybe the thread title should change to "Jan & Dean's long awaited lost album Carnival of Sound now available!!!" or what Rhino says "Jan & Dean's lost masterpiece, now available after 40 years"

Oh well, I went ahead and ordered a copy. Rhino's description sounds interesting.

Will this only be available on Rhino's site or will it be available at places like Amazon too?

I'm really happy to get all of the version of "Girl, You're Blowin My Mind". That's been a favorite for a long time. But a lot of the remaining material is pretty weak IMO. Nothing remotely close to the quality of Save for a Rainy Day.

Does anyone here ordered from Rhinohandmade and is from Europe ?
When I want to pre-order, I only have the "rush shipping" option which is 22 $ = more expensive than the cd itself ! Did I miss something ? I'd really like to get this cd but I won't pay 22 $ for a single cd shipping...... :(

Same here. And I ordered the Jan & Dean CD + L.P. set(though by this point Rhino's online ordering system was working, and I didn't have to spend 25 minutes on the phone with India to place the order). Wonder if I'll have better luck receiving the Jan & Dean set than I've had with The Monkees set.

I just received the same email from Handmade. I'd second RoyalScam's theory. DVD-A, maybe?

Original Chicago quad mixes, perhaps? How many albums did they release in quad?

Well...any guess is a good one perhaps but when you zoom in on the map, the 'pin' is at the Illinois Institute of Technology and is specifically centered on the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house.

If there is any clue there, I don't get it. Anyone else?

Here is a list of famous Deltas. I don't know which ones are specific to Chicago. Scroll down for musicians.

Or...maybe I'm just going too damn deep. :)

I enjoyed that "Blowing My Mind" song, but this stuff sounds very dated and insincere.. I'm glad they let us hear three songs so I know I should pass.

Maybe the easter egg is saying Rhino Handmade will release that unreleased DVD-A of Chicago X? :shh:

  25. I'm happy this is released but I'd rather have a reissue of Fleetwood Mac's "Then Play On".
