The best I've had in my system, but also the only cart I've had on the Classic since getting it a year and a half ago. The TT/cart combo far exceeded my old setup (tweaked sl1200 and denon 103r).

take lessons. i was in that boat for the last 20 years. it's the best money you can spend.

we flipped the couch and stereo to opposite walls this weekend. it allowed me to get rid of a big, ugly black audio rack and makes me want the Brio-R/DAC combo badly.

Just a small warning on these lights...I have six of them in the listening and love the design and flexibility...however the switches on them have a high rate of failure. 2 of the 6 have failed to form a positive connection. If I were closer to Ikea I would exchange it but being in the burbs its a bit of a drive. Still the 4 working ones are excellent. For $10 still worth it.

Not bad. Which make and model are the speakers?

Great shots. I like the Zu speakers. I visited the Zu factory while in Utah last week. Great people and great products.

Also, the bulbs are LED, and there is a little note in the "literature" that states the LED's are not replaceable. Maybe that's why they're dirt cheap. (Notwithstanding their outstanding Made in China quality.)

For what it is worth...I did not like any of my best carts on my Classic. A Shelter 501 was the only one that really sounded great.

What tweeks did you do on your SL1200? I am working on a SL1200 project currently.

I had a external power supply, Jelco arm, herbies mat, and Isone feet. All in all, a great setup given what i had into it, but that being said, the Classic/Delos combo was a big step up in my system. At this point all my analog funds go into software, as I have no further desire to upgrade.

Just looked online at IKEA, and it shows the clamp version of JANSJO is $15. Is the $10 you're referring to the work lamp version without the clamp?

Secondly, when you say the switch has a high failure rate, is that an on-cord thumb switch that can be replaced if necessary?

the large ones, they're obviously early-90's model PIONEERs to my eye.
    possibly the 1990/199? CS-G303 or -G403s, i'd imagine.

but wait a minute, these appear to have contoured Grilles.
PIONEER didn't start that stuff until the early/mid 90's,
so that would likely make these of the same series
    as my CS-G503s...
