I aim to please. Also, note my Jack Kirby worthy fist.

At some point during the evening this was snapped, I ended up onstage singing "Blind In Texas" while wielding a broadsword. Not real sure where the sword came from or how I happened upon it but I went full on Manowar.

I had those about 10 years ago. Don't really remember what they sounded like. I eventually upgraded to the EPI 200's

The action seems a tad high on that guitar..or maybe that's just the angle of the picture?

    It's the angle, I believe.

That guitar taunts me...been trying to learn how to play since I was 10 years ago, and it just doesn't click. It's a cheapo guitar I bought last year, but so far no dice. :(

That's a the monster Smiths Complete Boxed Set, from Rhino: http://www.rhino.com/shop/product/the-smiths-the-smiths-complete-deluxe-boxset

There's actually a thread in the Music Area, on this thing -- some of us got lucky and managed to grab one on the cheap. I leave it hanging out like that so I can see it from my desk, but I probably should put if on its own shelf at some point.

Yes, I am - but I knew it was going to likely be a good buy as I use it as a phono stage, an ADC, a DAC and as a headphone amp. I find myself moving it around lot because of that! :) My guess, and from reviews I've read, is that is does a lot of things "OK" but it doesn't do anything phenomenally well. But for the price I can live with that.

I've also heard that the break-in period can be fairly long, like 300 hours(?). I don't think I've reached that point quite just yet.

Nice room, and nice pics! Thanks for sharing.

dh3rm3, very nice pictures. Such a nice looking system too! I like that DIY phono stage. Can you take the top off and show us the inside?

Here is the inside of the phono stage.
It was made by the same person who converted the Philips CD104 output stage using a SRPP Audio Note kit. Amazing result !

The phono stage has 2 Mazda NOS EF86 tubes and 3 NOS Telefunken ECC81 (european denomination).
    It's a MM with 45db of gain
The best phono stage I've come to listen to for the time being.
    I'm really satisfied with it.
As a future improvement I'll surely change the EF86 Mazda tubes for some NOS Siemens or Telefunken.
