Here's my 40+ year effort -- an angle shot to get the R2R in the pic. Tubes at work and in my heart (forever!!).

Very nice system and pic Bob,

i really want to listen to those Egglestone speakers but they are so hard to come by here in germany.

P.S. I was an exchange student in Clayton, NC a couple of years ago so seeing where you are from decided what i'm going to listen to next: Carolina In My Mind

Thanks Art, Dave and Miles – a long & enjoyable journey it’s been. McIntosh would enjoy the pics moreso 50 years from now – when the gear is vintage & I'm, well, not sitting infront of it any longer.

Fabinho85 – Egglestone Works speakers are hard to come by for an audition in the States as well. Very few dealers & should you find one, they may not have the model one is interested in (Andra II’s and models above are soooooo heavy – the next model, the Savoys are 410 pounds each).

I lived in Stuttgart for 6 years. Would love to return once more. Glad I sparked some JT into your day.

I like how accessible your power outlets are. Did you do that?

As for the duplex receptacles---This is my parents' home and was built 20 years ago. They put those in to display Christmas "snow villages" etc. Pretty handy these days though.

  20. I LIKE it! Do you find that the Oppo is up to snuff with the Rega and Mac gear? That's some pretty heady company!

The OPPO BDP83 (special edition) is a great sounding deck. I am NOT running any multichannel --only 2 channel stereo and the DACs are amazing good IMO. For $899 it was a bargain. Next up for me--saving for B&W 802Ds.
