    Thanks All

I bought the Bryston and the Pass Labs from audiogon while I was over here. I get to go on R&R in July so I will tell you what they sound like after I get to listen to them. Comparing them to the old equipment.

yep, my first high-end CDP. i got it at an SA in PORTLAND for $13. it may not be a PIONEER, but i have an attachment to it, so it's not going anywhere. it was supposed to be retired, with it's replacement by the PD-91 a couple years back. well, as soon as the PD-3000 is up and running, which should be sometime next month, the 1500 can go back to bed again for an indefinite period. DAMN, do i ever miss the microdynamic detail the PD-91/PD-3000 is capable of!! the DENON, as excellent as it sounds, does not even come close...

System changed today. I finally got some McIntosh gear!!!!!!!! I am only running two channel on this system so I am able to bi-amp the Jamo speakers. Sounds divine. I have to wait to listen to vinyl again until I get a phono pre as the Mac doesn't have one.

Can you add a phono stage to the McIntosh preamp? Just a suggestion. I'm not a big fan of external phono preamps.
