After checking all this room, I can't wait to get the basement finished. You guys are going to think I'm nuts, but I'm shooting for a 9.2 Magnepan set up with a RX-Z11 Receiver.

    Martin Logan System

    Here is my System:

    Martin Logan Aeon i
    Rotel RCD-1072
    VTL TL2.5
    Rotel RB-1090
    Pioneer DV-79avi
PS Audio interconnects and power cords and Conditioner
    Audioquest CV-8 speaker cable
    Adcom line conditioner
    Definitive technologies Super cube II

I have since upgraded the tubes in the preamp to Mullard's and upgraded the CD player to a Bryston BCD-1 and the Amp to a PASS LABS x-250. Pictures will come after I come back from my deployment. I am also looking into better speakers but have to get back to audition them. 100_0257.jpg

    Not a real Eames

Thanks for the kind words. No I don't have $4500 for a real Eames chair it is a replica but a nice replica. I believe the real one is lower and slightly larger, I have only sat in a real one 9 years ago and I remember that it was real comfortable and soft like a baseball mitt, compared to the replica. Here is a pic of the back wall, the chair matches the rest of my living room I think.

    Thanks All for The Support

Thanks for the Support everyone. I really appreciate it :righton:. I think about sitting down and listening to my system everyday out here. I have been buying a good deal of cd's lately mostly from reading this forum and I can't wait to hear them all :). All the cd's I have ordered and downloaded on to my ipod  is just not the same as listening on the big rig obviously.

Just a thought, it seems most folks have a flat screen in there setup. Wouldn't it make sense to cover it with something absorbtive when listening to music to get rid of nasty reflections?

  21. 70's style? It looks like mid-century modern to me.

Me, too ! Especially the way it is mixed with that 50ies couch and and comfy chair in blue - a stunner !
All in all this looks really exotic and bright, could be anywhere in southern europe, arabia or the orient, never would imagine seeing such a room in the states... ..NO TV !
Thumbs up, one of the most individual and best decorated room iI've seen here so far - just not that crazy about that ole blue eyes memorabilia on the sound wall - but if that is what he likes...:agree:
