Hey, no problem. I know all about forgetfulness. Sometimes I've got the short term memory of a block of Swiss cheese. :D I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat for your results.:)

Didn't play either the R2 PAL Airplane! disc or the R2/4 PAL Big Lebowski disc I fed it. It claimed an invalid region code. No idea still if it will play PAL stuff (don't have any R0 PAL stuff to test). Sorry, boys...

That's too bad. O well, I knew it was too much to hope for.

I have a number of region 0 PAL discs. The 563a will play them but the motion (if thats the correct way to describe it) is kinda jerky. For the most part its fine but if there is rapid movement of the camera say in a panning or zoom shot etc., instead of the pan or zoom being smooth, it appears to be a little stop go jerky. I think someone else very early on in this thread made the same observation and I can confirm this same effect on my machine as well. I have a JVC XV-S502 dvd payer that I use to watch my region 0 PAL discs on and the PAL to NTSC conversion is flawless on it.
