Wow, Frank has his own jar of Barbicide, cool. The towel on the head, not so cool.

Those pictures are from a book called Sinatra: An Intimate Portarit Of A Very Good Year. They were taken by John Dominis during Frank's glory year, 1965 (turned 50, recorded September Of My Years, toured with Basie, had his hand and footprints cemented at Grauman's).

Here's the caption below the audio equipment pic:
"[Sinatra] has $5,000 worth of hi-fi equipment to listen to (usually classical music, never his own records)"

The caption for the shaving pic:
"Despite a flamboyant lifestyle, Sinatra had a strong conventional streak. There was nothing exotic about the bathroom potions and powders. They were right off the drugstore shelf."

As for the towel on the head, I'm assuming it was becuase Frank was a bit sensitive about his hair loss. Happens to the best of us.

That is Dr. Sam Hutt. He was a sort of "Doctor to the stars" of the English underground in the 60's.

Bing Crosby, at a birthday party for one of the kids in '64... hey he wore that silly hat for them didn't he? :D

Bing trying to chat with Arnold Palmer and looking at bit bugged by these people with cameras coming up at him.

And at a motel somewheres, here's Nat King Cole taking the chance to enjoy the day. Might've come down to the pool side and just his luck, looks like they're working on the place and the pool's closed. "Take a picture anyway and we'll pretend we had a good time..."
