Here's one, from an old issue of "Rolling Stone".

 

This one is borderline, but it has been one of my favorite photos. It's Stephen Stills taking part in his Children's Music Project, and he's donating some instruments he's going to give to a school in Hawai'i. While not him singing or playing an instrument, I thought it was one of those "hauling gear" photos you don't see too much of. Anyway, here it is, taken from http://www.stephenstillsmusic.org

 

Here's one that suits this thread. It's Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson, drummer for The Roots. This is circa 1999, while on tour in Europe. ?uest tries to find the comforts of home, but is too exhausted to do a double dip.

This was published as part of a tour diary in Vibe magazine.
