Actually, he's got 3...that Lp 3rd from the left, just past the Japanese mono obi, is a DCC Lp.

IMO you beat him, cuz of the R2R, 8-track and cassette.

I'll bet he's got some real tough decisions to make when he wants to listen to that album.

Yeah, but isn't that the disc set at the bottom right?
The one with Carl & the Passions? It's good IMO.

That's the promo sampler from the box set.

He does have a cassette version, by the way - towards the right, in front of one of the Japanese CDs. What he doesn't have - and what I used to have - was the cassette promo set of the entire box set. Now that sucker's gotta be pretty rare these days.

Imagine that, I own the Columbia Record Club (Made in Canada) CD issue only - missing the front cover.
    I need more? :-popcorn:

Good point. A CD collection can tell more about you than just your tastes in music.

There have been a lot of Japanese CD releases of Pet Sounds, more than you could imagine.

That picture makes me happy. I hope it would make Brian happy too. Talk about a single, powerful instance of total vindication!

    makes a good "wallpaper" though!

I personally love it, makes my 14 Revolvers look pale in comparison.

I once had two copies of The Guess Who's #10 (one stereo, one quad). And I thought *I* was nuts. Then again, maybe I was. :p

Personally my favourite is the Uruguayan Mono Picture Disk version, I have been trying for years to get it but to no avail. Ah well, I will have to imagine what my DCC Vinyl LP sounds like until then.

I only see one DCC CD. The one all the way on the right in the middle resembles the DCC slipcover, but looks like it has an OBI strip on the left. Too much glare to make it out well though.

No. In fact, it may be the best sounding vinyl version, say some. I have not heard it. (this is the one bundled with Carl and the Passions/So Tough).

I saw a used issue of this CD recently packaged with a CD sized book - "The Making Of Pet Sounds" - does anyone have any information regarding this? It was resealed, so I couldn't see what year was printed on the book or CD case.
