    Great artwork Andrew!

One suggestion - it might be a good idea to "watermark" these images so they don't turn up on ebay.

I'm not sure the record company would allow the legalese to be printed backwards.....

Neat work Andrew! While I admit Listen Like Thieves looks pretty good, would you really prefer a Target version over the Barry Diament version?

    Cheers!

The Green Chrysalis label is cool. Reminds me more of the original "Living in the Past" LP though. The original Aqualung US label was on the orange Reprise label.

All the printing on the packaging of Done With Mirrors, except for the catalog number and barcode, was printed backwards.

    I think I'd prefer a Barry Diament-mastered target version. :D

In that case I take back what I said!

I'm surprised the legalese was backwards though - I imagine you could copy that CD freely without fear of prosecution since there is nothing telling you it is illegal to do so :shh:

I truly dig these fake targets... you oughta find a way to open up a SmugMug website (a la the Fully Dimensional Labels one) to compile all of the images from both the first Fake Target thread with these images in the newer thread...

Wasn't there a fake PolyGram CD thread, too? I'm guessing it would be cool to see mocked-up atomic Mercurys, swirled Casablancas, Vertigos, and other of the cooler initial PGD first edition CD labels...

Two belated requests KeithH made three years ago:

    Dire Straits - Making Movies

and the Buggles' Age of Plastic. :)

I think it's surprising that in real life, only one Island target CD (U2's War) was released.

Has anyone tried printing a fake target label onto a CD-R?

How about an Asylum target of Tom Waits' The Heart of Saturday Night with the original Asylum logo using a blue label/white target color scheme?

    How's this? :)

Creating new color schemes takes time, but arranging text is a comparable snap.

That's always a fine line. Me? I'm enjoying the hell out of it!
Andrew, have you thought about creating some fake French targets? I love the pastel colors that MPO used.
