Speaking of Rush; have they ever performed, "Times Stands Still" in concert? That is one of my favorite songs by them. I know it's not on the "Rush In Rio" or "R30" DVD sets.

Also; anyone know who the female background vocalists were on "Time Stand Still"? I always wondered that.

No show from the Signals tour I've heard has it and no setlist I've seen had it. They have done "Chemistry".

Ben Mink was on violin. Rush were great to take bands such as Max Webster and FM, fellow Canadian bands, on tour with them. Nothing bad with gaining exposure.

As JuhaS posted, Aimee Mann. Geddy had a sample of her backing voc's so they were able to play that song live, if I read correctly.

Will this album be released on vinyl?

I would think yes since every studio Rush effort has (including VT and Feedback). When? Don't know. Even I would consider buying it if Steve did it - and I don't buy vinyl.

The full single for "Far Cry" is being released to radio on Monday.

There hasn't been this much hype for a Rush release since ... well ... I can't remember when.

And as per usual Rush tradition it was recorded and mixed entirely digitally right? If it is an aural disaster like their previous album, I think you better count me out.

Well, given the short clip currently on Rush.com and the longer clip I link above, it clearly sounds much better than VT - which is NOT hard to do.
