New music isnt doing it for me

Half the fun is finding new stuff. I love stumbling across a new "classic rock" era band. Just recently picked up albums by Quatermass and Hard Stuff which are great. But, its just as fun discovering contemporary bands and since a lot of good current good bands get little or no air play through conventional media, you have to really look on sites such as this one. When many are raving about a new album I'll check out some MP3s and if they sound interesting I'll buy one of their releases to test the waters. Sounds just like when I was 15 aside from the roll of the Internet.

I'm sure. I had the displeasure of hearing the whole CD last night at a friends. His wife was controlling the music selection.

 

i will now have a drink in your honor. may tonight's listenings bring a sliver of pleasure.

 

Thanks. Tonight was the new Wilco, Spoon, Mike Oldfield and ZZ Top. AAHHH!

 

Spaceboy, did you hear Yo La Tengo's last album "I am not afraid and I will kick your ***"? You might like it.

 

Fortunately, there's lots of old music available to discover.
