To help me memorize, I have a list of all GD shows categorized by date, with the name of the release (if officially released) in parenthesis. Helps me get to know eras better and I remember which dates correspond to which releases better that way. It's funny, I remember which release is 71, 72, 73, 74, or 68, 69, or even 90, 91, 92, for example, but for 80s it's like "that's from the 80s" but couldn't tell you the year from memory.

The cost is not unreasonable and the bonus is a great add-on. My interests are almost solely devoted to the Pigpen and K&D era, I'm not going to pay for an 80s/90s show I don't want so I do not subscribe to the series but keep a sharp eye on individual releases.

Are the bonus discs sold to non-subscribers?

Then I am confused by Ken's comments. Then again, this thread is about Dicks not Dave's.

DL1 or DL2, it’s all on the same street.

I’m picking them up in the UK - £20 to £30 max. With a bit of patience, everything turns up eventually. I paid £25 on eBay for Road Trips 2.2 with the bonus disc, which I was pretty happy with, for example.

My local secondhand record shop had the Movie Soundtrack for £25, so that was snapped up too.

Far as I can tell, the releases available to stream are:

    ALL studio albums
    ALL original canon live albums
    ALL 50th Anniversary Editions
    ALL Dick's Picks
ALL Road Trips (no bonus discs though)
    ALL Download Series
    ALL of Europe '72
ALL selected highlights compilation sets from box sets (Fillmore West 1969, PNW 73-74 Believe It If You Need It, etc...)
ALL selected shows from box sets (Saint of Circumstance 6/17/91, Wake Up To Find Out 3/29/90, Cornell 5/8/77, Fox Theater 12/10/71, etc...)
    30 Days of the Dead 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
    Long Strange Trip
    Smiling On A Cloudy Day
    Ladies and Gentlemen...
Formerly The Warlocks (Hampton, VA October 89)
    Sunshine Daydream
    Dosin' At The Knick
    One From The Vault
    Two From The Vault
    Crimson White Indigo
    To Terrapin
    Rocking The Cradle
    Rare Cuts & Oddities
    The Closing of Winterland
    Go To Nassau
    Steppin' Out
    Rockin' The Rhein
    Hundred Year Hall
    Europe '72 Volume 2
    Postcards of the Hanging
    Ready or Not
    Nightfall of Diamonds
    So Many Roads (1965-1995)
    Fallout From The Phil Zone
    Grayfolded
Plus a few things that I'm not sure are official releases.

That's a LOT of music to explore and enjoy, and basically for free (or a cheap $11 subscription if you don't want really loud ads in between segues from Dark Star to Sugar Magnolia)

July 78 isn't on Spotify but I understand it is on other services (Tidal, Apple Music(?)). Same with the spring 1990 boxes I think.

For the nitpickers, Steal Your Face isn't there in its original form but is part of a set called Grateful Dead Records Collection (2017 Remaster).

On Spotify, only Red Rocks 7/8/78 is available, which would be part of "ALL selected shows from box sets"
Are any full box sets besides Europe '72 available on other streaming sites? I'm just going by what's on Spotify.

    but....

Interesting, I didn't know that. My list was based on what is on Spotify.

Correct, Steal Your Face is conspicuously absent from streaming services in normal form.

I'm an Apple Music user. We have the same list as Spotify. No full boxes. The only reason we have Europe '72 is that the shows were released individually.

    In case anyone’s in the market, a bunch of Dick’s Picks are 30% off on Amazon - I noticed #s 8, 15, 25, 30, 34, and 35.

Real Gone must be reissuing Dick’s Picks 16 (and RT 1.4) because it’s listed with a presale date of March 11th.

If Real Gone want to start reissuing the early Daves Picks when they are done with Road Trips that would be great. The series is 10 years old now.

I think Dave’s are off the table because of the “limited edition” model they entered into with Rhino… but I’d absolutely love it if they could.

I’m kind of hoping they can reissue some of the E’72 shows on cd again…but not sure that there’s good odds of that either.
