Cheapest I've seen is ZERO !!!!!

The generous Forum member that had offered to give me his HMV accidentally-lowered-price copy, decided to buy and have shipped to me a copy from Amazon !!! It's out for delivery right now.

Don't know what amazon.ca charges to ship south. In Canada it's free over $25.

 

I've got my Ram deluxe. This box is beautiful. The mono cd is playing and it is fantastic. It really rocks harder than the stereo. Also, if I had to have just one book of sheep - this is the one I'd keep. Excellent!

 

The only way to get the mono version is to either buy the deluxe box or the limited edition LP, correct?

But with tax and shipping it works out to $89.24, only a buck fifty less than Amazon. Amazon has no tax or shipping charge. I hope Amazon comes down in price.

 

For any Rhapsody users, the 2-CD edition is available there. Kind of surprised to see it. Listening to it until my discs show up in the mail.

I shopped around last week too. Amazon Canada was cheaper but, like you say, added tax and shipping. So I ended up just ordering through Amazon US.

I had thought about waiting a few weeks but honestly, even if I was going to save $20 or so, I'd rather pay the extra and have it now! And even though it probably will drop in price, there's no guarantee.

Yes, I noticed that after I posted my question. Odd, since I know Canadian members have ordered LPs and CDs thru ImportCDs. com.

And as a test, I clicked on the Jethro Tull - Aqualung 40th Anniversary LP/CD, etc. box set. It does allow that item to be shipped to Canada.

I must say the presentation of this set is stunning. I only wish the other deluxe sets had this much thought put into them - even though I enjoy those. I haven't even listened to the music yet - the extras are just incredible!
If you can find a way to scrape up the money for this set, I enthusiastically recommend it just on the presentation/extras, etc...

I have intentionally stayed away from this album for some time waiting for this release so I can immerse myself in the album again - looking forward to sifting through everything this weekend.

 

Well, to answer my own question, I just got back from Target and Best Buy. target didn't even have it on the shelves, so I walked next door to BB. They had the single cd <$9.99>, the 2 cd set <$14.99> and the Deluxe Box at $99.99. No bonuses or extras, so I'll just wait on my box from Amazon which is on the way.
Had to check, as both these stores have recently had bonus discs or content on Mccartney releases <Kisses and BOTR>, ya never know....

That box is big and heavy! Numbered on the back of the box.
