How 'bout an all-star band called the Lesbian Thespians comprised of Janis Ian, K.D. Lang, Melissa Etheridge, and the Indigo Girls?

The director of .....2 Girls In Love is, indeed, gay. I don't believe that the actresses are though.

I watched The Blues Brother BD this evening. I watched the extended version. It's been some while since I've watched the film. I don't think I've ever seen this longer cut. I saw very little other than a couple of police station scenes that I believed to be the added footage. The sound was OK but probably would of been marginally better if HD Master had been provided.

I watched Soylent Green on BD as my second feature last night. I enjoyed the film. However, weak sets undermine the story at many turns. The ideas of this film are greater than it's actual execution.

    They Came Back
A few years old now - nice twist on the zombie flick. A tad problematic in the pacing but overall not a bad film. I was a little sleepy watching it last night (may go back and re-watch the second half tonight).

    Ghost World (2001)
    Shot in Panavision, nice.
I can see why Woody Allen fell in :love:with the one of actresses.
Wow .. Quentin Tarantino paid homage to Gumnaam
by the looks of it ...in the cool Ghost World opening scene.

    Planet Of The Apes (2001)

Hard to believe it's 10 years old.

Funny how the original looks like a tv movie now, but was so impressive on the big screen in 1968.
The same can be said about this remake, which looks all the more stagey, and where was the lighting guy..dark picture indeed.

Really like the screentests ( 4 screens -click on the ape)..brilliant idea.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes... is heading your way soon.

Did you see it with pals ?

The awesome moment for me in '68..was at the end, with the statue of liberty scene.
