    Serverige (2006)

    Danny Dyer's best flick.

If Alfred Hitchcock had directed the Magical Mystery Tour
..perhaps this is how he would have conceived it,
    sans music that is.

The overwhelming number of DVD's are cheap-o these days. I've picked up quite a few lately for $7 or less. I hope the fish are biting for ya!

I thought you could get 50 DVDs in a bag..for 20 dollars at swapmeets your side of the pound?

I'm getting them new for 2 euro here, or 1 euro used.
Snapping them up as many as I can for a rainy day.:)

I have only got a humble 5.1 set up.
What are those 7.1 speaker set ups like ?

I thought just the opposite. The first half was pretty good at building suspense and the second half was a complete letdown. Astral projection is represented as a guy with a lantern walking around on a foggy night. The evil demon is obviously some guy in a red mask.. not scary at all. In fact, the movie was sorely lacking in believable special effects, and it took me right out of the movie.

Rango - undoubtedly the best animation I have ever seen in a feature movie. This is bleeding edge CGI animation. Amazing stuff.

Limitless - highly recommended! A very good story. Stylized visuals.. a touch too much blue and orange but it was necessary in some parts.

Yes, the stylised visuals were good. The movie was a total bore for me, though. I think they so concerned with making it flashy that I couldn't follow it, or rather, I couldn't see the rationale behind Bradley Cooper's character.

Kind of goofy but a lot of fun and with a great cast

"Ironclad"; this was where they've invented the word "formulaic" for. Quite a good cast, decent effects, lots of gore during the fights and a wafer-thin story.

    Redbox:

Insidious - Wife likes these scary movies. Not my bag, but this one was okay. I picked my feet up off the floor a couple times.

Rango - cute movie. Good story. I liked it.

Hall Pass - liked it in the theater, still like it now. Very funny stuff. This was a good year for comedies. Maybe it's just Jason Sedakis.

Also watched my new Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas blu-ray this weekend....looks great!

I agree 100%. Also...what's with the demon's (Darth Maul, I called him) love of Tiny Tim records? ;)
