I watched Jurassic Park on Muse Laserdisc. If there's a Laserdisc, of any type, that has deeper bass, I have not heard it. "...we have a T-Rex..." ...in da room.

 

"Unstoppable"-Pretty good for what it is (a runaway train movie)....

Also watched:
Caddyshack (Ramis, 1980.) - been a while since I last saw it, now I don't really find it that funny - 5/10
[Rec] (Balagueró, 2007.) - pretty well made mockumentary horror, except for the very predictable jump-scares - 6/10
Kiss Me Deadly (Aldrich, 1955.) - this noir really blew my mind, it was like 20 years ahead of it's time - 9/10

 

Just watched "Blow Out". Wife fell asleep mid-way. What else is new?

 

Exit thru the gift shop. Wow. A lot different than the banksy doc I thought I was watching. Absolutely loved it.

Is it science fiction or science fact? Only the aliens know for sure. I watched Fire In The Sky on DVD last night.

 

Watched Criterion's Army of Shadows on dvd last night, good flick I was hoping to see it on BR but Netflix only had the dvd

 

Windtalkers (2002) on Blu Ray. There could be a great movie made about the code talkers from WW II, but this is not it.

Dangerous Crossing (1953) on DVD. A pretty good film. Kind of Hitchcock on a budget.

 

James Garner made it for me.

 

He's coming back from Montana someday to skin some alien's butt.... He was a nice feature in the film.

 

Still bill, the bill withers doc. Wow. Loved it, and aspire to be like him when I grow up

 

Man Of The Year...

got a chuckle or two...

Political satire at it's finest.

 

I watched my newest BD, Jeff Beck's Rock 'n' Roll Party. It's fun throw-back music. I watched Lolita on DVD. It's not one of Kubrick's films that has my partiality.

Just received this 21 DVD set from Amazon.uk. Watching Quatermass and the Pit.
