Kate Bush - The Kick Inside - U.K. LP first pressing matrix question

I've just compared an original UK, the first Japanese and the EMI100 Centenary version of "The Kick Inside" and found that I have to keep all three copies Impossible to say which is best, all sound a bit different.

 

Interesting. I have all three as well and very much prefer the Japanese version.

 

It struck me as more "spacious" as the UK but not as "grounded" as the EMI100. But in the end I'm not one to be trusted because a shoot out is hard enough with two records. When it comes to three...phew

But what was the reason for you to keep the EMI100? I bought it yesterday for a great price and had Ebay in the back of my mind () . But after I have heard it I'm going to keep it.

 

two reasons. 1. I'm a collector. 2. Ya never know how the chips will fall with equipment upgrades
