Jimi Hendrix: Purple Box Disc-by-Disc

    This site suggests the forthcoming Sony Deluxe Jimi Hendrix :blues will include the 30 minute Jimi And The Blues footage that was part of the 2005 Purple Box edition DVD.

    Thanks . Lots of things on that link.

    I have the 2000 CD only Purple Box cos i'm still worried about DVDs from the USA EH not working with our PAL system and in this DVD 'Region'.

    Obviously people outside the US are buying and enjoying these.
    If someone can refer me to how it works or something i would be very grateful.

    at the moment i don't get to watch any Jimi.

    As long as the DVD is region free, and music DVD's are usually, you should be able to play it. In fact music DVD's often have worldwide release in PAL OR NTSC. Maybe due to the speed differences between these formats, 1 is chosen to prevent conversion issues.
    In fact my Stop Making Sense DVD (Talking hEads) is PAL, and sped-up, unlistenable. With normal (not musical) movies I don't mind.
