Is the 2-CD Aqualung set in a digipack, mini-sleeves, jewel-case or otherwise?

Agree that the 5.1 mix on the blu-ray is the jewel in the crown in this set. It simply breathes new life into the album & for me, everything else has become superfluous. Wish I could have purchased it as a stand alone disc.

Is there any difference in the content between the DVD & Blu-Ray?

That disc got included because consumers contacted EMI and told them they wanted it.

Yes. I suspect also that Steven Wilson may have recommended to EMI that it be included. I recall him initially being rather embarrassed to announce that it was going to be dubly/dts only.

Anyway, I'd not have purchased the set unless it was included. So, no Quadrophenia for me I regret.

Floyd's Wish You Were Here and Aqualung are the best reissues of the year for me. Oh, forgot to add the deluxe Europe '72! Looking forward to 2012.

I guess that you are not keeping up on the forum threads; there will be no more physical media in 2012.

And exactly what does your comment have to do with reissue campaigns? When media is gone in ten years, we'll still have 50th Anniversary Editions available via download. Oh, I know, it will suck mightily to NOT have to wait for a week and track your package only to find out your shiny aluminum discs are all scratched, and it will extra super suck that your download won't come with 2 cent glass marbles, 10 cent polyester scarves and a bunch of smelly glossy paper which smudges the second you touch it with your sweaty-with-anticipation fingers. In this hellish future of mine, you'll instead have ... gasp ... 600 dpi files to view interactively on a ubiquitous 15 inch touchscreen. Which wipes clean with a damp rag.

    The horror, the horror!

Now that a lot of us have cancelled our Amazon preorders and went with Importcds.com, I wonder how long until we start getting "your order has shipped" emails and then receive our sets? I read somewhere that Importcds, who I have never ordered from, is actually Deep Discount Dvd. They can sometimes be quite slow in fulfilling orders, as we all know.

Importcds fills orders very fast. Every time I've ordered from them my order has shipped within 24-48hours if the item is in stock.

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

this has been jarring my azz...would it have been so difficult to include the original mix on CD as well? not everyone is into BR...such bullsheet!
an elitist release IMO...pox on it.

...a 2 CD set of just the REMIX and bonus tracks...really thinking of the true fan on this one.:realmad:
