The iTunes store already blocks some tracks from being downloaded individually; many tracks on various artist compilation albums, for example the Now That's What I Call Music series, can only be downloaded as part of the full album. In addition there has been a general block on downloading individual tracks over a certain length.

 

Can hardly wait to hear our Forum Host's reaction to this news...I hope Steve gets to enjoy this development as much as the rest of us!

 

I'm saying digipacks. EMI has a lot of them, especially it's 60s stuff...

 

Hey, I got it. Maybe the thing is a super thick digipack you turn it around to the back flip it around and that side stores the mono.

This news kinda makes that new Beatles album cover hardback book have special meaning now, doesn't it?!?

Great News! Although I would have preferred if they release them one by one (maybe every two weeks or so - starting next week) and not all at once. Would have been much more fun in my opinion, but that's not really a complaint...
