I remastered PHIL COLLINS "But Seriously" today for Audio Fidelity. Sounds fantastic.

At first I was leery about this fourth AF gold CD from Phil Collins but now I'm rather psyched. Forgot how good the record really is. Amazon says May 8th ...

 

I've got this one on order at Amazon as well...it'll be nice to hear how Steve worked his mastering magic with Steve Marsh, since I've got the other three AF Gold titles in the series in my collection also.

 

Changed my order from Amazon US to Import CDs as Amazon delayed shipment until June and were also more expensive... no news on shipping yet from Import CDs though.
Having just looked at the AF web page on 24k CDs, there's hardly anything readily available, most of it is out of stock or 'retired'... I guess their business model must be working for them if they can sell everything they make (or could they sell even more?)

 

On the internet, amazon.com states that it will ship May 8. Maybe you talked to somebody at amazon on the phone.

 

Result, Import CDs shipped it late on 2nd; Amazon had delayed it (order placed on April 19th)

Mine just arrived from Amazon #1711

 

I wonder how they split the numbers up between retailers or if the retailers just place an order, like does AF keep 1-500, music direct gets 501-1000 and so on or is it random, I ordered directly from AF and got #326

 

My copy - ordered from Amazon.com, BTW - is # 471, a fairly low number.

I think the whole number-getting thing is random, and frankly, I really don't care about such stuff.

 

#500 for me, from Best Buy. Me too thinks it's random on the numbers once you get outside the AF subscriber base.

I ordered mine on the 30th of April, and it shipped today, so who knows how these things work?

 

Received this today. A great sounding CD. Much improved over my original made in Canada CD. The mid section seems to really come alive, at least on my system. Thanks Steve!!
