Wow, so Eric Weisberg played on this...meaning he is the only person who can make the claim that they played on both "Blood on the Tracks" and The Wrestling Album.

Derringer also wrote the popular theme for the Demolition tag team.

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a copy of the Hulk Rules album off of ebay, and I was wondering if there was anything I should be looking for, mastering-wise. I see some CDs and Cassettes, but does anyone know if it came out on Vinyl? I love thinking about the warmth that vinyl would add to the Hulkster.

    THANKS BROTHERS,
    Matt

Look for the DCC release. It really lets Hulk's vocals breathe.

And all those over the top synths sound so warm and analogue-sounding.:D

Random scenes from the 1987 Slammys still pop into my head.

That was one of the most entertaining shows ever put on by WWE! And it was filled with great music!!!!!! Again, it's a shame the Piledriver album hasn't been issued on cd. I'm sure loads of people would buy it in a heartbeat! I have a cassette copy at home, but it sure is worn out. I also have the VHS with all the music videos from the album (I believe there weren't any videos made for "Crank It Up" and "Waking Up Alone.").

Here's the star-studded video for "If You Only Knew":

OMG!!! An unreleased Brutus Beefcake song?!?!?! That has to rank up there with the Beach Boys' original SMILE sessions and Jimi Hendrix's "Black Gold" as far as unreleased stuff goes!:goodie:

Did anyone see Hogan play bass in Florida in the '70s? I think Ruckus was one of the bands... Hogan mentioned in his autobiography that they did Uriah Heep covers among others.

Jimmy Hart was a member of the Gentrys.

Speaking of Jimmy, We Hate School is one of his top tunes, even better than Eat Your Heart Out Rick Springfield.

Since we're talking about wrestling music here, is there any love for the Honky Tonk Man??? He may have been one of the ultimate bad guys, but he sang one of the best wrestling songs ever:

Of course, without Honky no one would have ever heard about that other guy .... some dude called Elvis or something like that.:D

And as an added bonus, here's Honky's WCW theme music:

Not as cool as his WWE theme, but it's still horribly good!

Epic!!!!!!! Definitely paved the way for Rock N' Wrestling!!!:righton:

Never heard the entire album, but I'm surprised Michael Hayes hasn't shown up on RAW singing his all-time classic! Maybe the masters to BadStreet USA are missing?
