    I picked a NM (in shrinkwrap) 1A/1A original mono pressing of The Lonely Bull for $1 earlier this month.
    It's interesting that they actually tried to sound like Tijuana music on this first LP. A couple of years later they mostly just applied the "TB sound" to covers of current pop hits, for better or worse.

    My musical taste is all over the map and I've always loved the TJB. One would be tempted to say their Greatest Hits is all you need (and for some, that's true), but several of their "deep cuts" are quite good as well. Whipped Cream and Other Delights could be considered a concept album since all of the song titles have to do with food, drink, and desserts. Vinyl collectors can take $10.00, hit 3 or 4 thrift stores in one day, and come home with Herb Alpert's complete works.
