Geez, the STAR WARS soundtrack! Has this EVER sounded good on LP or CD?

Fantastic set. Disc 1 uses some alternate takes/versions, but you’ll only notice if you’re a stickler. Such a great sounding set!

I’m still thinking about picking up the old 80s discs regardless. LP masters, and sound better than the “complete” 1997 versions. And they can be had for fairly cheap. Shame that Empire is reversed, though. (opens with Imperial March, half-way through has the title theme)

I wonder if that set includes the Target-exclusive bonus track from the Episode II soundtrack? Still need to get my hands on one of those… If you watched the trailers at that time, the track is essential!
