Yes but release date is 2006 and not 1995.

Confirmed: the 1990 Zappa Records of SUAPYG has the "bad batch" audio programs. What in the world was Zappa thinking?

Enjoy this clip from the beginning of "Why Johnny..." Thrill to the beginning cymbal crash and think "someone approved this!"

Anybody got idea of when Läther and Finer Moments are pre-ordable from Amazon.co.uk?
Release dates should be dec. 18.

I got the other last titles already on preorder but would like these all the be in same order.

I'm now vaguely concerned, given the Uncle Meat/JABFLA/SUAPYG revelations contained in this thread and its predecessors, that some of the other Zappa Records discs that have no business being different may indeed be so. Some of these differences are clearly due to Zappa's tampering, such as the inexplicable extra reverb on the UK Uncle Meat. Others may be due to pressing-plant shenanigans. But I'd definitely want to confirm now that discs we all assumed were identical actually are so. Needless to say, I have access to precious few Zappa Records discs.

I stopped by a Best Buy this afternoon to see which titles they had gotten in. There were only the CDs from the previous batches in the bin, but on my way out, I noticed a cart with all of the new stuff on it. There were three copies of Mothermania, but nothing else. I inquired with the young lady who was stocking, and she said that those were the only Zappa discs that they had gotten in today.

That's a shame, because I was really hoping to pick up the last four volumes of YCDTOSA, but instead I ended up walking out with the Led Zeppelin and Graham Parker CDs.

Ok, so have to wait for further closer to release-date and see if the Läther, Finer Moments etc upcoming will surface to Amazon-stores in EU.
I guess they should be available atleast in Amazon.co.uk.

On to the next thing to worry about...

I compared the new Mystery Disc liner notes with the Ryko version. Oh boy. The new ones are severely truncated. Many of the blurbs are shortened and some are missing entirely. The ENTIRE first page is also absent, as well as the entire last page ("Fetish Dept").

Now I really wish I hadn't sold my Lost Episodes and Yellow Shark Ryko discs so quickly. Who knows how much material they will truncate from those releases! Maybe Playground Psychotics too?

    UGH!!!
